New Club Year, New Program Details!
While our 20/21 club year faced unprecedented challenges, our members truly came through for the women we serve! We are incredibly proud to announce that our Live Your Dream Awards increased by nearly 6% this past year, with 1,871 women receiving an award. This is a true testament to our Federation uniting its commitment to our signature program, even in a time of crisis.
"I believe in the Soroptimist Dream Programs and the impact they are having on women and girls in our communities and around the world," says SIA Board Secretary and Treasurer, Bobbi Enderlin. "As we work towards our Big Goal of helping half a million women and girls, I hope that we create a world where all girls are educated and achieve their dreams of economic empowerment. The world will be a better place when women have a seat at the table where local and global decisions are made. I am proud to be a part of this worldwide effort as we move into Soroptimist's second century."
Things to Know for Our FY 21/22 Programs
With the new fiscal year upon us, we also want to take the time to share a few updates and important dates for our Programs.
- Soroptimist Club Grants have relaunched to align with our Big Goal! Please review the materials here and send any additional questions to program@soroptimist.org.
- The Live Your Dream Awards application deadline is November 15. While recruiting applicants may still be challenging, our updated digital application and reference forms make applying online smoother!
- Be sure to use our Soroptimist Forward resources to help you connect with local organizations that serve women facing obstacles and find new pools of applicants.
- Don’t forget to report your club’s Big Goal Accelerator Projects! Not sure if your club’s project is eligible? Please consult our What Counts handout or email program@soroptimist.org for more information!
