SIA Secretary/Treasurer

Gail Dekreon

Gail Dekreon of SI/San Francisco, CA (Sierra Pacific Region), is currently serving a one-year term as secretary/treasurer of the board of directors for Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc.® (SIA).

In this role, Gail participates in strategic planning and program development for the organization to increase its collective impact in helping women and girls around the world to achieve their full potential. In addition, she works with Soroptimist’s professional staff to oversee the organization’s financial practices and accounts.

A member since 2003, Gail has held several leadership positions, including region governor, region governor-elect, region district director, region secretary, region public awareness chair, region membership chair, club president and club secretary.

In addition to her work as a Soroptimist, Gail is a member of the California Judges Association and California Women Lawyers. She holds a Juris Doctor degree in law from Golden Gate University School of Law. Gail is a retired Superior Court Judge and continues to serve as a judge with the Judicial Council for the State of California.
