Soroptimist® Announces Erica Cheslock, as New Director of Donor Relations
Will help grow fundraising in support of global organization’s Dream Programs

Philadelphia, PA —Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc.®, a global volunteer organization that economically improves the lives of women and girls by providing access to education, welcomes Erica Cheslock as its new director of donor relations.
In this position, Cheslock will develop and manage the major gifts program to support the Soroptimist Dream Programs: The Live Your Dream Awards and Dream It, Be It. These programs ensure women and girls have access to the education and training they need to reach their full potential.
“I am excited to collaborate with Soroptimist members, volunteers and staff to share the impact of the Dream programs and help donors make transformational gifts to the organization,” stated Cheslock. “I look forward to building long-term capacity through a major gifts program.”
Cheslock has more than 14 years of professional fundraising experience, which includes cultivating donors, planning and executing public events with a focus on corporate and individual sponsorships, and community outreach.
Prior to Soroptmist, Cheslock served as development officer at Eisenhower Fellowships, a nonprofit that identifies, empowers and connects innovative leaders through a fellowship experience and lifelong engagement. While there, she managed a $4.1 million fundraising budget and portfolio of approximately 100 donors. Her career also includes working as the director of annual giving for Community Partnership School, which provides high quality, affordable education to underserved pre-kindergarten and elementary age children in Philadelphia. She has also worked as a development coordinator and capital campaign co-chair.
Cheslock holds a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in international business and a minor in marketing from the University of Toledo in Ohio.
