Soroptimist Announces Iesha Brown as New Senior Director of Membership and Leadership Development
Will help global organization grow membership to increase programmatic impact

Philadelphia, PA —Soroptimist International of the Americas, a global volunteer organization that works to improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment, welcomes Iesha Brown as its new senior director of membership and leadership development.
In this position, Brown is responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction for member recruitment/retention and leadership development. "I’m excited to join an organization with such a powerful mission," commented Brown. "I look forward to contributing to Soroptimist’s work so we can achieve future goals and help write the next chapter in our 96-year history."
Brown comes to Soroptimist with a diverse professional background in association and volunteer management. She previously owned her own association management consulting firm, and prior to that served as the director of chapter development and membership for The Institutes—a risk and insurance knowledge group. During her tenure, she was responsible for managing the relationship with 130 global chapters, defining and implementing membership recruitment and retention strategies, and managing volunteer development and relationships.
