NEWS RELEASE: Happify and Soroptimist/ Team Up to Enrich Women’s Lives Though Happiness-Building Activities

‘Science of Happiness’ Site and Volunteer Network Working Together on Women’s Empowerment

Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY— Soroptimist International of the Americas and its online volunteer portal,, have joined forces with Happify, the emotional wellbeing improvement site that uses games, activities and exercises to teach people the skills needed for happier and more fulfilling lives.  Through the partnership, Happify will provide its service to Soroptimist members and supporters as a way to increase life satisfaction and long-term happiness.

Happify’s activities, games and exercises are rooted in more than a decade of research in positive psychology and the science of happiness. Each Happify track helps people achieve goals like coping with stress more effectively, being kinder to yourself, strengthening your relationships and building confidence.

Soroptimist is a global women’s volunteer organization that works to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. The organization also powers, a burgeoning online community that encourages offline action on behalf of women and girls.

“Happify and Soroptimist share a mission of empowering people to improve their lives,” said Happify President and Co-Founder Ofer Leidner. “In working together, we hope to educate Soroptimists around the world about the importance of happiness in their daily lives., like Happify, promotes the use of online tools to spur offline action. The partnership between Happify and Soroptimist will begin in February.
