General Program Information

The following resources will help Soroptimist clubs learn about Soroptimist programs, plan for the program year, and provide information about Soroptimist’s mission and impact.

General Information
The Program Quick Reference Guide describes what programs are available from Soroptimist and important deadlines your club needs to meet in order to participate. The Program Quick Reference Guide can be a helpful document for new members.

The Soroptimist Mission
Why does Soroptimist have the mission to improve the lives of women and girls? This FAQ explains why Soroptimist focuses on women and girls.

Program Council
Region program council members are there to help you with your region-related program questions or concerns. Contact your region program council members with any questions you might have. You can also contact siahq@soroptimist.org.

Soroptimists Celebrating Success!
This annual awards program is a best practices program that recognizes successful club projects that improve the lives of women and girls and that promote Soroptimist as an organization with that mission. Categories encompass the four areas the SIA Strategic Plan: program, membership, fundraising and public relations. Region finalists are judged by SIA’s Board of Directors who select the federation finalists. Entries are due to headquarters by January 19, 2012.
