Who are Soroptimists?
Soroptimists are women of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups. Members represent a wide array of professions, including doctors, attorneys, teachers, chief executive officers, business owners and government officials. Soroptimists are leaders in their communities who believe that by joining with other women they can make the world a better place for women and girls.
What do Soroptimists do?
Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. Soroptimists also participate in organization-wide programs that improve the lives of women and girls. More information about specific club projects can be viewed in the Our Clubs section.
How do I join a local Soroptimist club?
If you are interested in joining a Soroptimist club, complete the Introduction Form and indicate the area in which you are located and/or the specific club in which you are interested in joining. A Soroptimist will be in contact soon after the form is submitted to provide more information about clubs in your area and their activities.
Soroptimist’s privacy rules prohibit us from releasing club contact information to non-Soroptimists. Therefore, the Introduction Form is the most effective way for us to connect you with the Soroptimists who know the most about the clubs in your area. Please note that submitting the form is not a commitment to join.
What are the membership dues?
Members pay dues to their club, region and the federation. Club and region dues are set by individual clubs and regions and vary accordingly. For federation dues information, please visit the members area.
