Dear Soroptimists,
As this year comes to a close, I wanted to send you my warmest gratitude for your dedication to our mission in 2021.
You see, this past year, you not only gave women and girls education support—but you also gave them confidence and hope for a brighter future.
This past year, your support:
- Inspired over 10,000 girls to realize their own inner strength and to dream of big possibilities for their future careers.
- Empowered over 1,800 courageous women to keep pursuing their education goals while worrying less about how they'll make ends meet.
- Lifted families out of poverty by giving women and girls the skills that will enable them to find better jobs, secure stable housing, and make healthy decisions for their families.
The women and girls we serve may not know about your compassionate generosity. But they will know they received the gift of education because someone gave them a chance. Someone like you said, "Her dreams are worth it."

"When I received my Live Your Dream Award, I was becoming a mother, getting off drugs, leaving an abusive relationship, and navigating the welfare system. When I heard I won the $2,500, I was beyond thrilled. But the biggest reward was knowing that I was being recognized for my hard work, which gave me confidence in myself.
Since receiving the award, I have drastically improved my situation. I have a job at a charity, was promoted several times, and am now a Program Manager. I repaired my financial situation and found a beautiful apartment. I now have a stable, loving home for my son, and that is what I am most proud of."
