Women's Opportunity Awards – Apply
Deadline:
Applications are due each year on December 1. Applications must be sent to the region contact by December 1 so they can be forwarded to a local club before the December 15 club deadline.
Step 1: Determine if you are eligible
Eligible applicants must be women who:
- provide the primary financial support for her family (including children, spouse, siblings and/or parents)
- are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program
- do not already have an undergraduate degree
demonstrate financial need are residents of one of
- Soroptimist International of the Americas' 19 member countries and territories.
Step 2: Complete the application
Download the application along with two reference forms. (Note: You will need two different people to fill out the reference form.) Please email or mail this form to your references and request that they email or send the forms back to you when completed.
Step 3: Mail your application
Completed applications must be emailed or forwarded to the appropriate region. Applications will then be forwarded to the closest local participating Soroptimist club. Applications must be sent to the region contact by December 1 so they can be forwarded to a local club before the December 15 club deadline.

Applications submitted directly to Soroptimist headquarters in Philadelphia will NOT be considered.
